About Nyron

Nyron Rouse is a strategic funding expert and nonprofit leader with a commitment to equity, access, and systems-level change. He currently serves as Director of Government Grants and Strategic Funding at Global Electronics Association, where he leads national grant strategy, compliance, and capacity-building across sectors such as advanced manufacturing, workforce development, and sustainability. He also supports the U.S. Partnership for Assured Electronics (USPAE), building public-private partnerships and aligning government and industry funding priorities.

Nyron brings over a decade of experience in federal and foundation grants, with prior roles at the University of Pennsylvania, Emory University, and the National Institutes of Health. His expertise spans pre- and post-award management, 2 CFR 200 compliance, and federal funding strategy. He has collaborated with agencies including the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Labor, and National Science Foundation.

Nyron holds a Master in Law (ML) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Texas Southern University. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he served as a Medical Logistics Specialist. He is passionate about supporting organizations that center justice, innovation, and underrepresented voices—especially within Black and LGBTQ+ communities.
